Craft beers and cocktails with a Korean twist

The team behind local brewery, Archea Brewery (on Via dei Serragli), wanted to create a place where they could linger when off duty. A place offering artisan beers and comfort food beyond classic Italian dishes. Twelve craft beers from Europe and beyond are on tap, with more by the bottle served from a long zinc bar. The interior has a gastropub vibe with olive green banquettes and wooden tables under overhanging lamps.

The menu offers juicy burgers and the recent addition of Korean/Tuscan fused dishes by chef, Yejin Ha. Try the lampredotto mandu – a Korean dumpling stuffed with traditional Florentine-style tripe served with salsa verde. Cocktails, by bartender Lorenzo Pizzorno, are creative using in-house infusions with their take on the Spritz, the Pferffer, its pepper infused Aperol, Bitter Campari, sparkling wine, and orange soda a spicy version of the classic drink. Come Sunday for roasts and Bloody Marys and linger over dinner late into the night.
